ROOFING EVALUATION SERVICES
Inspection/Condition Assessment - Investigating problems and systematically gathering information such as roof type, materials used, existing roof performance, historical data, structural components and other important information, which we then combine into an easy-to-understand report including photos and a key map of the roof to identify the locations of the findings.
Analysis, Recommendations and Cost Forecasting - The information collected in the inspection is compared to information we have in our roofing databases to accurately predict the behavior of your roof. We then use rations, such as work cost to roof value, to recommend short- and long-term maintenance strategies. It is then your choice to the best strategy for your needs and situation.
Infrared Scan - With a preliminary moisture survey, Desjardins Roofing can identify specific areas of wet, saturated insulation on your roof. By locating the existing saturated insulation, we are able to compare this information with the above reports and findings to provide you with the most educated course of action. Often times, customers only need certain portions of their roofing systems replaced and not the entire system. By locating these specific areas, we can help you save valuable funds.
ROOFING INSTALLATION SERVICES
Maintenance and Repairs - The life of a roof can be extended by regularly scheduled maintenance. Many building owners don't think of their roof until it leaks. In order to receive the best performance of your existing roofing system or a new Desjardins Roofing system, we recommend implementing our maintenance and repair program as follows:
Clean drains, scuppers and gutters of any foreign material (drains will be cleaned at the roof's surface only) to allow proper water drainage from the roof system.
Repair any damage found, up to 1% of the total roof area. Damage to be repaired includes punctures, splits and lifting seams. In the event areas in need of repair exceed 1% of the roof's area, the owner/building manager will be notified and a written quotation for that work will be provided.
All flashing will be inspected. Any open flashing will be sealed.
All debris will be removed and disposed off of the roof's surface.
All repairs effected will come with a one-year guarantee. After each inspection, the owner will be supplied with an invoice and a copy of the inspection report.
